The Office of Operations and Maintenance is responsible for the comprehensive management of district operations. This department controls facility access, coordinates logistical operations, and addresses emergency situations. The office also handles routine maintenance and repairs, covering critical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure.

In accordance with State of Michigan Regulations #637, which mandate that schools and daycare facilities must provide advance notification to parents and students regarding the schedule for pest management services, we are providing the following details for the current academic year. Richmond Community Schools is committed to ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of the pest management schedule to facilitate a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.

Pest management services at Richmond Community Schools are regularly scheduled to occur on the second Tuesday of each month. Should any of these scheduled days coincide with a holiday or other significant school event, an alternative date will be designated and communicated to ensure minimal disruption.
