I attended the District of the State tonight. There was a few things that are concerning. First, I would like to know where this data on numbers were pulled from. These numbers with achievements and state levels for students are NOT the numbers on Michigan.gov education numbers. Our score for Richmond still remain low. Especially at the high school level. Second, when speaking about Gaggle. I think a lot of information was withheld. Where does it show all the features we are currently using? Are we alerting mental health? Where does it say when the parents are notified? Where does this data go? Thirdly, parents have been asking about transparency and giving credit to your efforts, although, I do not feel that anything was given. I think just hitting the service of area and leaving things out was made to feel as if there are secrets, still. The money from the state is coming from adding these data collection programs, right?

Good morning, We currently live in Clinton Township and would like to know if I can enroll my daughter to your school who is currently an 8th grader from St Thecla. My daughter excels academically where she is a recipient of Gold Honor roll for multiple years and a member of NJHS. In addition, she also plays sports (bowling), play piano and a member of art club and school choir. We applied her to IAM and currently on waitlist (7th) and would love for her to attend that school. From my understanding, Richmond is a school of choice and would like to know if this something you can accommodate. Looking forward on your response and consideration about this request.

Hello, I'm just curious how many absences my children need to be held accountable for truancy? I know my 3 children had upwards of 70 absences last year. I expected to hear something from the truancy office but never did. Just not sure why the kids’ mother isn't held accountable for this? I checked in with the principal and vice principal multiple times last year and was told he'd look into it and let me know but I didn't hear anything back. With the new school year coming up I fear my children's education will yet suffer another year from their mother’s neglect. And all help would be great. Thank you.

Hello I did the pre-registration for my daughter to attend Richmond Middle School I haven’t heard anything back and I’d like her to start May 8th.

Was there ever a decision made on how to handle the girls bathrooms in the high school? The last I had heard was discussion of extending the dividing walls further up/down between the stalls for more privacy.
