Varsity Wrestling brought home the gold from the Fenton Duals on Saturday. They scored wins over Fenton, Midland Dow, Clio, Ann Arbor Huron, and South Lyon.

Based on the weather forecast of rain and snow coupled with temperatures and windchills below freezing, Richmond Community Schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. The middle and high school exams scheduled for Tuesday, will be moved to Wednesday when staff and students are scheduled to return.
6th grade Algebraic Thinking students completed a quiz quiz trade with each other on graphing inequalities.
Congratulations to our Honors Chorale for earning a first division rating and qualifying for the State Festival at the District 16 Solo and Ensemble Festival held at Chippewa Valley on Friday night 🎶 Freshman Claire Millbrand prepared a Solo and also qualified for the State festival with a first division rating! The accompanist and director for the event was our newly hired addition to the music department, Mrs. Michele Maples 🎶 Great job ladies representing our district with professionalism and class.

Richmond Middle School band sent two events to Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association District 16 Solo and Ensemble festival held on Saturday, January 20, at Rochester High School.  Musical events were rated by a judge and given a rating one to five, with one being considered superior. RMS had two events participate in this festival both earning a strong first division rating!!

Boys Basketball hosted Imlay City on Thursday. Varsity played the Spartans tough. Final: RHS 46 - IC 56
The Girls Varsity Basketball team hosted the Spartans on Friday. A strong 2nd half effort helped close the gap. Final: RHS 27 - IC 52

Tonight's High School Boys Basketball games have been cancelled. Alternative arrangements are being made for the Snowcoming Court presentation.
The Wrestling Tournament at Clarkston has been cancelled - Wrestlers, Coach Burg will communicate tournament assignments at practice today.
The Powerlifting meet at Oxford has been cancelled.

Anna McKiernan - Girls Basketball - Anna's game has quickly evolved and she has become a big part of the Blue Devil offense and defense. She is currently shooting over 75% from the free throw line.
Justin Smalls - Boys Basketball - Justin has been a leader on both ends of the court, averaging 10 points, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds per game. He was also the MVP of the Marlette Tournament.
