S.H.I.N.E is our Positive Behavior-Intervention Support program. As stated on the left, there are five S.H.I.N.E traits that staff look for in all of our students. Staff are provided with tickets to give to students as they demonstrate these traits and let them know what they are being rewarded for. We regularly review our S.H.I.N.E traits so all our students remain motivated to show us the strong character of RMS students. Each week and once a quarter, students are able to drop their tickets into the appropriate S.H.I.N.E box to earn a prize. We mostly offer experiences for our students, leaving tangible rewards for the quarterly prizes.

Our experiences are generously provided by our staff during their preparation times and include such activities as Minecraft coding, movies with a friend, board games with a friend, donuts and cider treats, RMS's version of Painting With a Twist, and pancakes with the principal, just to name a few! S.H.I.N.E is designed to give the same opportunity for success for everyone because each day is a brand new day at RMS. We are so grateful to our staff for providing a fantastic program and so very proud of all our students.
