Blackboard is an learning tool that allows students to generate their
own knowledge through online research, collaborative learning, and
discussion forums. Using Blackboard allows the teacher to "share" the
power of learning. Due to the student interactions that take place,
Blackboard requires a username and a password to enter. Please contact
the teacher if you have more questions regarding their Blackboard site.

I was a student teacher at RHS in the fall of 1994. After my student
teaching was completed in January, I was hired at Richmond to teach Physical
Education and Social Studies in February, 1995.
Teaching has been a lifetime dream of mine. I have always enjoyed
working with students at RHS. Being a positive role model and having an
impact on my students really pushes me to be the best teacher I can be. I
have been a life long learner! Always eager to improve learning that
takes place in my classroom.
Outside of the Classroom:
I am the Junior Class Adviser, Sophomore Advisor and the S.A.D.D. Adviser. I have coached
Varsity Baseball, Varsity Football and JV Basketball. I always try to be
involved in as many activities I can.
When I am not in school, I enjoy coaching and spending time with my two sons, Brady and Griffin.
